Ideas & promos handy for the office.
Your business is probably gearing up to offer customers some great Black Friday deals. But have you checked out the promotions that could also save your company money? Whether you’re in the market for new software and electronics, or updating the atmosphere in the office lounge at a discount rate, this could be a great time to take the online shopping cart for a stroll.
Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Upgrade your computer software
Microsoft is already showing special discounts on Microsoft Office and the Surface lineup, which are sure to be a big draw.
The Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 both show savings around 25%, which are nice deals if you’re in the market. For software deals, upgrading to the Microsoft Office Home & Student 2016 version will let you install it on up to five computers, five tablets and five phones, making it a great option if you have multiple devices in your operations. And the Black Friday savings will be available for both PC and Mac versions of the software.
You can also get a great deal on an Xbox system – perfect if you’re setting up a cool office lounge and gaming area for staff hangouts. No doubt, your team will be very excited.
Stock up on office supplies
Amazon has started its Black Friday sales and offers a wide-range of products and sales. Check out the computer and accessories category in particular, where you can find some steep savings on drones, cables and chargers. Then look at the electronics section, an always-popular Black Friday interest, and look for specials on computer headphones, camera equipment and select smart watches. Finally, you can sift through the office supplies section, which will show you savings on laser printers and must-have stationery items.
Pro tip: Sort the lists by “Discount – High to Low” and you’ll find the best deals up top.
Freshen up the office décor
Has your office style fallen into a slump?
Wayfair has listed some incredible Black Friday deals that are up to 70% off regular prices. Brighten up any cubicle with trendy art, get a comfy couch with accent pillows, or find a swivelling office chair with plenty of adjustable parts to keep you ergonomically correct all workday long.
Book a work trip
If you need to travel for conferences or events anytime soon, this may be the time to book your flight. WestJet has already posted their Black Friday deals on select routes, but the fine print shows the deals will be over after November 25 – no Cyber Monday as of yet. Keep your eyes posted to the other airlines and your favourite travel booking sites for other deals that you can expect to be offered.
Uncover some sweet hidden deals
Honey is one of the coolest Chrome extensions, and it’s sure to be a special hit for Black Friday. Add it to your Chrome browser and when you’re ready to check out of your online shopping cart, it will automatically scour the web for any coupons and promo codes to add to your checkout. How amazing is that!?
This one isn’t exclusive to Black Friday, but it’s sure to be extra handy if you’re looking for even deeper discounts in your online shopping adventures.
Never forget your password again
If you struggle to remember your passwords across your work, home and mobile devices, then check this out. Dashlane works across all platforms, including iOS, Windows and Android, and syncs your encrypted passwords, payment types, purchase receipts and personal data across multiple devices. It was recently named as one of PCMag’s Editors' Choice Picks and is offering their Premium Password Management System on a 30-day trial for businesses.
This isn’t technically a Black Friday deal, but a valuable business product with a nice trial offer – so it’s worth mentioning. Check their Twitter page for any last minute Black Friday announcements.
