In April 1844, four sisters Valade, Lagrave, Coutlee and Lafrance left Montreal in a canoe that was 40 feet long and 5 feet wide. They traveled a perilous 58-days across the wilderness to establish Catholicism, schooling and hospitals here in the prairies, creating the backbone of a community where families would settle.

Today, you can host your meeting in a number of spaces at “Le Musée.” The Chapel can accommodate 60 to 70 people and the acoustics also make it ideal for intimate concerts. The multi-purpose room accommodates up to 30 people, while the Board Room upstairs complete with a beautiful open beam ceiling is an ideal location for up to 10 people.

Guests are welcome to visit the display areas on their own or, if requested in advance, guided tours can be provided.
